Air duct solutions for roller shutter and Venetian blind boxes - explained briefly:
The humidity sensor/textile strip integrated into the air supply element automatically adjusts the airflow to the relative humidity of the room – without requiring external power. The element can be fully opened or closed using the locking and opening lever (ZUROH 110) (basic ventilation is also provided).
A specific increase in airflow allows for an increase in air volume.
We can prepare the air duct for mounting the air supply element on the roller shutter box upon request. Perfectly prepared for easy implementation on the construction site.
With its flat and modern design, the ZUROH 100 or ZUROH 110 external component air vent is ideally suited for use on roller shutter boxes.
Air is drawn in through an opening that is not visible to the occupant.

The Coanda effect occurs when flowing air adheres to flat surfaces and follows the curvature to create a mixed ventilation.
Roller shutter boxes are excellent components for the use of air supply elements or fans with heat recovery, as the air transport takes place very high up in the room.

The difference between ZUROH 100 and ZUROH 110 from AKTIV-SYSTEM
ZUROH 100 is without Locking lever.
The ZUROH 110 is with Locking lever.
This can be switched to two further positions using a manual lever.
When the lever is turned to the right, the ALD is closed. The hygrometric control is not active when closed, however, there is always a basic ventilation (approx. 2.4 m³/h at 8 Pa).
To return to the humidity control, move the lever back to the middle position.
Pos. ~ : this is again the hygrometric control - as with the ZUROH 100. - see the following illustration.

Our roller shutter box systems are also available with a fan, tested according to DIN EN 1627 resistance class RC 2 s for high burglary protection.

THE ADVANCE FOR THE WALL
In our ZUWAH set with humidity-controlled ALD ZUWAH 110, fresh air is supplied via the outer wall.
The air volume flow is automatically and independently of the user at all times via a mechanical and power-free humidity sensor integrated into the ALD.
This ensures a permanent optimization of air quality and prevents mold growth in living rooms and bedrooms.
Also available with a flush-mounted cover for an even more discreet installation.
