Power supply to 12-volt electric motors in case of fire

Windows and French doors are often designated by fire safety planners as a secondary escape route within a building. However, it is essential to consider the type of shading and operating mechanism for these windows. If roller shutters with motorized drives are used, the shutters can quickly become a trap in the event of a power outage.

When equipped with our 12-volt drives or our emergency hand crank systems, the roller shutter curtains can be opened in fractions of a second using the low-voltage motor or the crank rod to clear the way out in emergency situations.

This eliminates the need to drill into the box at an angle. Damage and air pockets in the building envelope are avoided. Ideal for blower door tests.
